Tailor Made Safari in Southern Africa

Our safari was a wonderful experience and we are planning our next trip to Africa already. We saw all the animals of Africa and a lot of birds.
Safari Operator Performance
Steffi Presske from Gondwana Tours & Safari arranged our trip.The service was first class, best organisation, nice personal, very good guides.
Route
We started in Maun, Botswana, went to Shakawe by car, then to Namushasha lodge, Katima Mulilo, Caprivi Strip, Namibia, then we passed Kasane, Botswana to go on to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. We stayed at Victoria Falls Hotel.The next station was Somalisa Camp in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. Then we flew with a Cessna to Lake Kariba and spent some days (and nights) on a houseboat.
Then we went to Chirundu (Zambia) and we spend some days in a canoe, greetings Hippos and Crocodiles, sleeping at night in little dome tents on islands along the Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Then we landed by canoe at Mana Pools Park, also in tents, did game drives and walking. This camp was a highlight of our trip.
We ended flying with a Cessna to Harare and then to Johannesburg and Frankfurt.
Food
There were five meals: in the early morning tea and cake, later English breakfast (ham and eggs) and marmalade and sweets, later lunch, followed by tea time and dinner in the evening.Typical Day
Starting 6 o'clock, tea and cake, walking three hours, accompanied by two guides with guns and pistols, greeting lions and all other animals of Africa, then in our Camp breakfast, doing some other nice things and after lunch game drive and fishing in the Zambezi. Sundowner with gin and tonic, at home in the camp dinner with candle light and than sleeping very well.Other Activities
Flying by helicopter over the Victoria Falls, shipping on the lake Kariba, canoe on the Zambezi.Tips and Advice
