Choosing the safari in Zambia company to handle your trip is probably the most crucial planning decision you will need to make because it can make or break your holiday. Here's how to improve your chances of choosing right...
First hand, independent advice as given by people who have experienced a trip with the company already is the best kind to have for decisions like this.
And that is how I compiled the top six companies list. By using trip reports and journal diaries that I've received over the years at the African Safari Journals website.
It allows you to accurately sort the wheat from the chaff when it comes to trip operators.
But remember that there are more than six good ones out there in the different categories so if they are not on this list it doesn't mean they are bad. The list just gives you a good starting point to making your decision.
Sorted By Rates Categories
To effectively compare the safari in Zambia companies I've sorted them into three different rates categories. This is to give you a rough idea of the all inclusive costs. Low season rates can be about 25% less than high season rates. The rate indications below exclude international and inter-Africa airfares.
Ultra-Luxury & Palatial: Prices range from $650 upwards per person per night spent on safari.
Luxury: Between $450+ and $650 per person per night spent on safari.
Budget & Mid-Range: Up To $450 per person per night spent on safari.
The companies are listed in no particular order other than alphabetical. Safari in Zambia travel journals both online and offline form the basis for this ranking...
