The pictures of Kenya wildlife above are good examples of what there is to see on a safari to the Masai Mara, Amboseli and Tsavo game reserves. They were taken by the safari travellers themselves and they kindly allowed me to display them, and their trip reviews on this website.
If you happen to be on safari for several days and your guide knows what he is doing then you will see and get the opportunity to photograph a lot more wildlife than the ones shown here.
The Masai Mara reserve is renowned for its predators so your chances are excellent to get images of some of the big cats. They didn't shoot the BBC television program "Big Cat Diary" there for nothing.
Many of the safari companies also take you to some of the human habitations around the reserves so you will be able to get some "non-wildlife" pictures of Kenya too, such as of the Masai Mara tribe in traditional dress.
Just make sure you ask their permission before you take a photograph of them and don't be taken aback if they ask for a small fee for the privilege.
To get a better idea of what is involved in such a trip and to look at some more stunning photos, why not browse through these Kenya travel reviews which are written and photographed by the people who have already been there.
The trip reports will give you a great feel for what a wildlife trip to the country is really like and it will answer any questions you might have about accommodation, food, wildlife spotting potential, health issues and more.
If that whets your appetite for more wildlife photos, click along to the African Safari Journals wildlife photo gallery where you can see a multitude of photographs that were taken on safaris throughout Africa.

If you are going to be travelling to Africa yourself and want to try your hand at getting some wildlife photos, I've written an e-book called "Better Safari Photography" which will help to improve your photographic attempts. Get the wildlife photography e-book here.
I've received lots of positive feedback from people who used the information in the ebook so I hope it helps you too.
